Considering Verizon had an outage yesterday and the representatives at the store were not responsible for it, big thank you for what the reps went through. Seeing the amount of customers yelling at the representatives i applaud them for their patience and professionalism.
I had a came in for a few tech questions and data transfer and to witness the amount of customers yelling at the representatives they were able to answer all their questions and assure them hopefully the service would be up and running soon, but I know for the workers here yesterday was a big challenge. Apart from all the angry customers, thank you to the representatives for helping me out.

So in my original review I was upset about how I had "spent the weekend wasting hours on the phone with Verizon's customer service thanks to a guy who works here" who I thought had screwed up the eSIM installation for my new line while also processing two orders for my new upgrade phone to pad his commissions. In this update, I'll admit that I was wrong after returning to this store to activate the new line today, but I cannot give this place 5 stars. I'll raise my review from 1 to 3 as a way of admitting my mistake, apologizing for my accusations of incompetence and the possibility of shady business practices, and acknowledge the explanation I was given for the eSIM activation glitch and the duplicate order to my face today. Both were due to system glitches, and my understanding is that the system-wide outage on January 14th, 2026 was deeper than just no signal for a day. I can accept this and move on, but I can't move on from the manager's condescending tone, his arrogant sense of entitlement, and the pure hatred my wife and I saw in his soul when we looked him in the eye today.
Now I get that a big reason the manager was so Fleekin' pissy today is because I had originally written "this one-star review will stand until Thursday evening [Jan. 15th], so hopefully the management at this store replies with an apology." The manager did not reply to this review until January 25th, but l'll give him credit for calling and leaving a voicemail on the 15th. What I won't give him credit for is putting himself in my shoes and considering why I couldn't call him back after he would not stop accusing me of being the bad guy because I didn't call him back.
So why no immediate response to his generic "call me back" voicemail? Well, there was no summary of the "system glitches" explanation he could have given me in 5 seconds of voicemail recording. No reference to my one-star Google review with a reminder of my Thursday ultimatum in that voicemail, saying that he'll explain everything if I call back ASAP so that I can update this review. Doing either of the above would have been the clear communication I needed to upgrade my review to 5 stars and keep my business, but he instead chose to show no urgency. Meaning I forgot about my Thursday Google Review ultimatum and never saw the need to call back because, being given no firm explanation or reminders via voicemail, my Verizon issues got bumped way down my priority list as other thing came up on my life.
That being said, I challenge the manager to reflect and put himself in other peoples' shoes rather than act like he's so entitled that the busy lives of others take a back seat to his business. Let's do a thought experiments and imagine that a customer isn't calling you right back because:
~the gas furnace or plumbing at their homes broke down right before the heaviest snow in 10 years, meaning taking calls related to home repairs takes priority over setting up a new Verizon line for a yet to launch side business.
~Maybe that heavy snow itself is what bumped the Verizon activation issue down the to-do list.
~Maybe they were in a car accident right before the snowstorm hit, and that's why calls and emails back and forth to insurance companies took priority over Verizon.
~they had a death in the family that required them to go out of town for who knows how long.
Maybe your customers are not intentionally going back on their word just to piss you off, wow imagine that.
If you choose to do business with this Verizon store, they will work out misunderstandings with you. However, beware that you, the customer, will matter less than their own petty egos as they make you out to be the bad guy if you dare ask them to fix a glitch or other problem on your schedule, a sick relative's schedule, Mother Nature's schedule, or any schedule besides the one they feel entitled too because they think they matter more than you do as the customer! As my wife said as we drove away today "I believe that the customer is always right, and I don't like the way they treated us!"
