Went in today to the store on Bel-Air Road to look at our bill and get a new phone. The lady helping us was really very helpful and helped us look into some items that were on our bill that shouldn't have been and removing some un needed device protection. Helped us figure out a new phone for our daughter to replace an older phone and went in the back to figure out if any phones had physical headphone jacks. While she was in the back, I observed her co worker sitting at another desk with a customer and vaping multiple times exhaling his vape cloud in the store while helping that customer which was honestly pretty shocking.
I don't want to breathe someone's vape cloud while I'm shopping for a cell phone and I don't want my daughter breathing your employee's vape cloud.
I was extremely shocked by this. I waited until the lady helping us came back and let her know her co worker was vaping in the store and asked if they have a company policy about vaping in the store. She said she had no idea about a policy on vaping in the store. I asked if it was possible to speak to a manager, she said no, there is no manager in the store. I asked for the manager's name so I can follow up with them. At that time she became visibly upset and she said I can't give that out because I could get in trouble. I asked how she would get in trouble? She said they have a policy that they don't give out the store managers name because they aren't at the store. I asked her to help me understand that policy because I have a complaint and as a customer when there is a complaint there's always some way for you to follow-up and I have a complaint and I'd like to understand the process. She said they don't give out personal information about managers, not even their first name because they have issues with stalkers at that store. Not knowing what that has to do with asking for information on their process to file a complaint I asked her to clarify if there is no way to file a complaint? She said go on our website. I clarified that going on the website is the only way and she said file a complaint on Google.
Seeing that she is still visibly upset I asked her to help me understand why she is upset and I offered to come back later as I'm feeling uncomfortable at this point. She said she was not upset and she was happy to finish helping us with our new phone, so I said ok and figured I would just go on the website.
A few minutes later she offered to call her manager, I said ok. He didn't answer, then called back, and said his phone was at 1% and he would call back. I suggested he call back Monday, he said he's out Monday, he's back on Tuesday so I suggested he call me on Tuesday.
I have to say, this was an extraordinarily unpleasant interaction. We have been a Verizon customer for over a decade and I understand this is an authorized reseller, not a corporate store. I'm going to call the local corporate store to see if we are able to turn in our old phone there rather than having to deal with vaping employees, no managers available to handle employee issues, and policies that are clearly designed to keep customers from speaking to a manager. It's a very strange policy that sends customer complaints to a Google review but here we are.
Ultimately the lady helping us was really helpful and helped us get a new phone and sort out our bill and reduce our total payment so thank you for that! The rest of the visit and the company policies really makes me want to just go ahead and switch over to TMO so I'm going to look at offers.

Devin W. was nothing short of amazing! Me being a new customer and needing assistance with an online approval where he finalized everything and I did not have to wait for my phone in the mail! In addition to calmly handling a frustrated customer who came in aggressively. Devin W. is very polite, informative, patient, and reassured me that I’m with a great company after I became discouraged from another location.

Please don’t waste your time there’s rude people working in there the guy (black) and the lady (white) are extremely rude behavior.
As soon as I walked in I was told to stop right there and then person talking to me is very far so he’s screaming what you need not how can I help you?
I have to return some WiFi device and they started saying First Lady said we don’t take these you have to go to white marsh then the guy started look at devices and said they have to ups back they cannot be return to the store .
It seems like they don’t have no knowledge and while I’m there and other customer left the place they both people started talking bad about him 😡😡
That’s bad behavior and lack of knowledge
I wish I could give you less the a star 🤬🤬🤬
