  For ferret owners: VCA cannot diagnose or treat beyond a basic exam and will refer you to a specialist hospital. This was never mentioned before my appointment, and it was a waste of time and money. The vet was friendly, but the billing manager was awful. She became rude and impatient when I asked to have the exam fee waived after I had already payed in full. She went out of her way to misinterpret everything I said and was not only ignorant but just bitter. I’m now left paying a large sum for two exams with no diagnosis and a longer delay in getting treatment. If you have a ferret, go straight to a specialist and avoid the mistake I made.

  I highly recommend Dr. C as an exotic pet Veteranarian. She helped my bunnies thrive and I am grateful for her expertise. She handled my bunnies with empathy, great knowledge, effective treatment planning, and connected with my bunny in the most perfect way. Appointments were handled to accommodate when necessary. There is teamwork, structure, and a great vet, Dr.C. Based off of my experience at this VCA franchise with the front end and Dr.C, I highly recommend VCA.

  The staff here are always super kind, understanding, and accommodating. They’ve helped me work through multiple issues as my dog has gotten older and have never pushed for anything I wasn’t sure of, they very reasonably explained our options so I could make the best choice.

  Dr. Furst has made such a difference in our dogs King and Jax’s life this past year and she deserves recognition! In June my chihuahua Jax was very sick, I brought him to VCA and Dr. Furst figured out he has diabetes and saved his life by sending us to Tufts. 7 months later and Jax is thriving, playing, eating well and living his happy life. I appreciate her sincerity during that time as I struggled to hear the diagnosis. She was so patient and understanding and supportive. Last month, our older dog King pulled something in his knee and had trouble walking. Once again, Dr. Furst helped us and provided him the best care and suggestions so we could pick a treatment path moving forward. Due to her support and guidance King is now walking normal, plays and sometimes runs. The supplements, food and pain meds have made such a huge difference in his life. I cannot thank Dr. Furst enough for her care, patience and support with both of our fur babies. She is a fantastic addition to the VCA team.
