In June my chihuahua Jax was very sick, I brought him to VCA and Dr. Furst figured out he has diabetes and saved his life by sending us to Tufts. 7 months later and Jax is thriving, playing, eating well and living his happy life. I appreciate her sincerity during that time as I struggled to hear the diagnosis. She was so patient and understanding and supportive. Last month, our older dog King pulled something in his knee and had trouble walking. Once again, Dr. Furst helped us and provided him the best care and suggestions so we could pick a treatment path moving forward. Due to her support and guidance King is now walking normal, plays and sometimes runs. The supplements, food and pain meds have made such a huge difference in his life. I cannot thank Dr. Furst enough for her care, patience and support with both of our fur babies. She is a fantastic addition to the VCA team.

Both Dr. Ciminello and Tracy were incredibly compassionate and understanding of our concern in not letting him endure prolonged suffering. They explained the process of euthanasia simply while giving us time with him as they prepared the necessary procedure. Our bird passed peacefully in our arms and was returned to us in a container suitable for burial. We received a sympathy card from Dr. Ciminello a few days later. We can't say enough about this experience and the comfort these professionals provided us during this most difficult time. We are truly grateful to Dr. Ciminello and Tracy for their kindness and support.
