I highly recommend Hyannis Animal Hospital and Dr. Andrew Nadeau. I live 40 miles away and I still prefer to make the trek to see them when my pets are in need of care. I started with them 20 plus years ago, when my young Golden had cancer, then the next dog had a cruciate ligament tear, then another with a mysterious idiopathic kidney condition, today it was because my latest dog presented with a possible epilepsy condition. I'd forgotten until today, when I was sitting in the waiting room, just how many of my wonderful pets they have helped me with over 20 plus years. Thanks for all you do! The trust that started with Dr. McCartin in 2003 is still going strong with Dr. Nadeau today. Their expertise and care is worth every penny!

They charged me for a test then proceeded to lose the sample call me 15 days later to tell me and now will only give me a refund for the $155 by check when I paid cash they refused to put it on a card or give me cash back. This was a charge for a unnecessary test and was not told the price until check out which brought my visit from $100 to $265 they plan to remove the growth off my dog's leg and it would be better to have it tested then I feel this was a waste of time and just a way to get extra money from clients it backfired when they lost the sample and now they want to be difficult in returning my money I will never bring any of my loved animals to VCA animal hospital again

VCA Hyannis is truly wonderful. Our family is so grateful for the compassion, skill, and care shown by Dr. Andrew Guresh and his entire team.
My 9-year-old cat, Rumi, recently underwent dental surgery with Dr. Guresh, including a full cleaning and four extractions. The entire experience—from start to finish—was handled with such professionalism and kindness. Dr. Guresh listened carefully to all of my concerns and took the time to explain everything in a clear, thoughtful way that made me feel confident and at ease. He was incredibly gentle and compassionate with my cat, which meant so much to me.
The Care Club membership also made the procedure much more affordable. While it doesn’t cover extractions, it does include the dental cleaning and other components of the procedure, and it’s absolutely worth considering for any pet needing dental care.
I also have another cat who will need a similar procedure, and Dr. Guresh helped me make a reasonable, informed decision about the urgency for each cat—taking into account both their health and my ability to space out the financial impact in a manageable way. That level of thoughtfulness and transparency is rare and deeply appreciated. They even sent a get well card afterward which truly meant so much to us!
I can’t thank Dr. Guresh and the team at VCA Hyannis enough for the excellent care they provided. Rumi was truly in the best hands.

The staff here is super friendly, kind and caring! They have a pharmacy on site which is super convenient for any prescriptions that your animal might need! It's just a great place all around! All of the vets and techs we've had have been amazing!
