I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment with the recent computer repair service for my computer, which was dropped off at Geek location 550 Arsenal St, Ste 2, Watertown, MA 02472, My computer was experiencing occasional glitches, but otherwise it seems to be working normally. The next day when I picked up it after the technician attempted to fix it, the issue has become worse and the computer totally damage. The technician did not provide a clear explanation, or offer advice on how to prevent future problems.I paid $ 179.99 to damage my computer that is unjustified. I am not recommended this place, I experience the worst customer service

Really amazing service. I have been a long-time Best Buy customer, but this was my first experience with Geek Squad. While upgrading a solid state drive in a brand new Dell, they found internal damage, notified me, and, after some discussion of the problem, offered to replace the computer with a new one. The entire process was marked by forthrightness unusual in today's "service" economy.

First of all let me tell you: I never, ever review anything, I just don't take the time to do it, but this time I'm going to write a review about Best Buy's Geek Squad at Watertown MA. I've been working very hard on a voluntier project for some days and suddenly my computer wouldn't start up anymore and on top of that: I didn't have a back up and the project was due in two days!! So what I did? I took my computer to The first place that I could think about: Geek Squad (I guess too much TV advertisement ), to get a back up or at least to recover this one single document, I left my computer there and one technician called me two hours later telling me that my hard drive was doing "clicking sound" and it was too damaged and that they couldn't get any data from it! Total nightmare!! I was shocked, because when I left my computer there I couldn't hear any clicking sound, but what could I do besides that going there and getting my computer back ? It was when I found information about X-Files Recovery Data (Assembly Row), and I have to tell that I am beyond happy for it, Chris took the time to look at my computer, do the back up, not only for the document that I needed, but for every data in my hard drive, and better than that, I left his store next day with a usable computer again and for a price that I can afford, before I forget I left his store with the same hard drive inside the computer and working!! No clicking sound at all!! I'm very disappointed with this first (and last) experience with Geek Squad!
