We ordered phones online and paid, but when we arrived we were told they had been sold despite our payment. The words “first come, first served” were used. Selling an item AFTER taking someone’s money is completely unacceptable. The staff member we encountered was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. She repeatedly said “there’s nothing I can do” in a very ironic rude way and made it clear she had no interest in assisting or taking responsibility. She wasn’t interested in helping in any shape way or form. This store is a serious disappointment. The staff clearly do not care about customer service, which makes the experience frustrating and wasteful. Other Verizon locations in the area (Middleton and Saugus) were professional and helpful, showing that this store’s issues are entirely due to its team. When I shared my situation with the other store locations they weren’t shocked at all that the offending store was the Reading spot. I cannot recommend this location.
