Everyone in the store was polite and friendly at first, but the experience quickly became frustrating. Because there were issues porting our phone numbers, the store representative connected us to tech support. We spent almost two hours in the store trying to resolve the issue, only for the call with tech support to get disconnected. No one ever called us back. The store representative told us this was “typical” for support calls and advised us to try calling again later, saying there was nothing more he could do to help. After leaving the store, I spent nearly 8 hours trying to reach tech support on my own. Calls were constantly disconnected, and every time I called back I had to start over and explain the situation again. No callbacks, no resolution—just wasted time. Eventually, I went to another Verizon location, where the representative told us that the Norwood location should not have left us to handle this issue alone and should have assisted throughout the process. We were also informed that the Norwood store is a third-party location, which seems to explain the lack of support and accountability. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating experience. We lost an entire day, a lot of patience, and received very poor customer service. Highly disappointed.
