I just acquired an Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max from Verizon, and I stopped by Russel Cellular to request assistance setting it up. "Cameron", the store manager, was very helpful and professional. Cameron has many years of wireless services experience and he knew exactly what to do to transfer all of my data (accumulated from six years of use) to my new iPhone. Cameron was a pro about it. I appreciate his service!
- MTMark TrimmerDec 30, 20252.0I enter the store and was greeted right away from one agent helping a customer. He then said he could help me in about 10 minutes. I said great I can wait. After a few minutes he asked what help did I need. I told him I want to see how I could reduce my Verizon bill. He said ok be a minute. He then said he could multitask and asked what exactly was I looking to accomplish. At this point I didn’t feel comfortable discussing my account out loud with him helping another customer. I then told him I had an unlimited plan when I last upgraded my phone which had way to many options I didn’t need. He the said I can’t really change those plans with a huge penalty. At that point I had enough of out loud conversations. I told him I was surprised he couldn’t help being a 12 year Verizon customer I left. I got into my car and started a Verizon chat and they gave me a $20 twelve month credit and lowered my unlimited plan by $25 saving me $45 per month. To bad for this Verizon store manager as he could have had a loyal customer and prevented my negative review. The sad part was I was willing to wait but he pushed the conversation on me in front of customers. Not good
