I asked a series of questions about my trade in, return policies, and effects on my bill and I was lied to multiple times. I was told that every trade in plan boosted my monthly bill by like 15$+ because I was required to upgrade my plan. He also said verizon would not cover the remaining cost to my current phone Turns out after I CALLED Verizon, they were able to cover my remaining payments, get me a new phone for only 1$ more a month, and I had no additional cost to my plan. ALWAYS FACT CHECK THE IN STORE REP BEFORE BUYING.

That included $70 to transfer my data, which I did not want or request, $40 for an extra charger I did not want or need, $40 for a case that I liked but probably wouldn't have purchased otherwise, ~$60 in tax, and a screen protector I didn't want. I asked if I needed all that extra junk and was told yes, it's part of the 'bundle'. I refused the monthly protection plan, yet it was added to my bill anyway and I had to go back to have it removed. My spouse had to pay even more than I (higher tax on his 'free' phone) and only got a case and the data transfer. I actually feel ripped off but the phones were worth it.
