Google Best Buy reviews to get a better sense of what folks think about Best Buy Geek Squad Service. It is poor service that does not stand up to their hype. A small data transfer (twenty minutes) stated to take six to seven days. They have too few geeks and can offer only excuses as to why the work can not be done or takes rediculously long time frame (making it impossible). Could be their business plan: make the service so bad that folks stop asking for it. All Best Buy is looking for is the membership. Satisfying members is not part of their plan!

Very poor customer service. The guy was sitting in the back and wouldn’t come out to help us. The Best Buy guys told us the Geek Squad has a five minute window for appts and they “checked their cameras when we walked in” and were six minutes after our appointment time, so they refused to see us.

Had an issue with email not received on iPhone and iPad. Mike of the Geek Squad in Leominster was very thorough and patient in diagnosing the issue and then correcting the problem. I should add that he was pleasant to deal with and courteous.
