    I went into your Gloucester location and i was greeted by a smiling John Medina. i came in with an issue with fraud on my phone and he helped me through the whole process. He made a lousy situation into an easy process. Customer service needs more people like John. Jaime Faria owner Jaime's Restaurant

    I hate buying phones. I hate getting upsold by disingenuous salespeople who don’t listen to what I’m asking for. I don’t like being treated like a number. So when I went into the Verizon store at Gloucester Crossing my guard was already up and my expectations were low. I walked in and was warmly greeted by John. Within 2 minutes of meeting John, my mind was at ease and the whole process went smoothly. John was alone in the store so when another customer came in I expected one of us to have to wait. That didn’t happen. John multitasked in multiple languages with fluency and professionalism. John was on a call with customer service handling the other gentleman’s issue and clearly communicating his progress in Spanish all while transferring my data from my dinosaur iPhone SE to my new iPhone 17. I had such a good experience that I bought a speaker I don’t really need just to bump up his commission. I went into the next day to drop off my old phone and Jason the store manager was personable and polite and wiped my old phone in about a minute. For someone who hates buying new phones, John and Jason made the process easy and treated me with respect and professionalism. If I could give 6 stars I would.

    Where to begin. First and foremost Jason is an absolute rockstar at his job. He’s always friendly, funny, helpful and informative. I wish I had switched sooner because the transition was just so phenomenal and I got EVERYTHING that I wanted. Now if I had one complaint, which I do, is John. Working with John is like working with a dead battery. He literally didn’t (doesn’t) even smile. At least when I walk into the building. Every single time I’ve had to go to the Verizon store at ask questions about promotions or adding accessories onto accounts or just general information about my account he refuses to help me and always redirects me online, which I very much dislike. Even when I asked simply to check my account for certain information he wouldn’t do it. It’s to the point where if I even see him I won’t even bother coming into the store because I know I’m not going to get any questions answered , just a person who acts like they really really don’t want me talking to them. But besides him, working with Jason is an absolute delight !
