awful place..they want your money nothing else. brought my cat spent 2000 to say go to an emergency room we can't do anything. tried to get a lifesaving prescription for my cat and now they won't fill it because it doesn't come in right size and I can't break it jn half..so my cat will die with no meds..no compassion at all ..stay clear of Dr vargas.. no heart

Not happy with their service first time going there and went with my dog for his lump on his nose and ended up doing a whole physical and checking other things which I was charged for instead, and did not receive any result or information for his nose. They told me to make another appointment for his nose to get more money from me. Very disappointed with the service and the lack of communication. Made a complaint and never got a call back . Will not recommend going there.

Some people should not be vets, they play on your empathy and try to get you worried too the point you will bankrupt yourself in order to save your fur baby, and the dog isn't even sick! Dr Jayaram has terrible bedside manner had us thinking we were being bad pet parents, bringing our dog home to die. Come to find out, all her test were fine and she is back to normal. Just be wary folks

Very poor experience when my dog was not feeling well on multiple occasions. I called every day for three consecutive days with concerns of my dog, and I got the run around without any plan or action. I was told to “wait until next week” on the first day. I asked for my dog to be seen in the office, but I was told that my dog’s veterinarian (mind you- my puppy is 5 months old and has only had two examinations ever with this veterinarian at this point) was no longer there that day. That is understandable and not a problem, but when I asked for him to be seen by another veterinarian there that day, I was told “no one else has examined your dog before”. I could not believe that I was told my dog could not be seen in office because no other veterinarian has seen or examined my dog before rather than simply just trying to make an appointment for me and actually listen to my concerns. That was shocking. The front desk was passive aggressive and lacked compassion. They had told me “it’s been really busy today” as their reasoning for not calling me back. Extremely poor communication. They did not respond to my text message with concerns about my dog nor did they call me back when I was told they would hours before they closed on more than one occasion. They conveniently closed without calling me back, and my dog is once again not properly cared for nor did they listen to my concerns. My dog is having the exact same symptoms/appearance/discomfort as the first recent concerns, but they want the testing and samples again before any action or treatment right away. I understand why sampling and testing is important, but if my puppy is having the exact same symptoms as a month earlier and he was tested at that time- why not treat that again in the meantime especially since I was told that sometimes they need to give a second round of dosing for this issue. Trying to get ahead of it this time around would make too much sense, right? They appear to just want your money first. It is disheartening and so frustrating to feel as if no matter how hard I advocate for my dog at this establishment, I feel as if my concerns are not taken seriously nor are they being addressed in a timely manner. My dog is yet again in discomfort without a call back or plan in place. I have never dealt with such an establishment that lacks the ability to listen or respond in a timely manner to my concerns. This is my second experience where I have felt as if my dog has been neglected of proper care. I would never recommend this vet to anyone. Capeway and their staff lack compassion, communication, and attentiveness. My overall experience with my first dog with Capeway has been very unfortunate and beyond frustrating.
