- CSCheryl SnyderJan 8, 20235.0Nice property off Rt 3A, free for all. When I went the house/museum was closed, but it's a lovely structure. There are two main trail options. I took the one that leads to the River. This trail is an easy walk, adjacent to a grassy field for the first part and then through a marshy area along a boardwalk. The boardwalk has a River viewing area with benches, a nice place to spot water birds. Note: you also see and hear traffic at this spot but it's not distracting. My friends tell me the other trail, tgat goes through the woods, is also nice. I recommend this for a brief, or long, relaxing interlude along the River.
