  Poor customer service. An Apple Rep when I entered asked if they could help me. I told them I did a purchase and pick. They asked if I received an email saying the items are ready for pick up. I said no. He responds by telling me if I didn’t get an email, it’s not ready yet and then walks away. Anyone who’s done purchase and pick up knows they will notify you when it’s ready. That wasn’t the problem. What was the problem was ten minutes later or less another Apple Rep named Dexter comes by and asks me the same question but took different action. “LET ME CHECK YOU IN. And did you get an email saying it’s ready?” I reply I didn’t. His response was “ let me look into this. It says it’s ready on my end. Come with me, I’ll help you out.” The rep then opens a drawer, pulls out my new purchases, helps me transfer data, and gives me a lesson on Apple Intelligence and even goes above and beyond to assist me with fixing some of my settings in my phone. Thanks Dexter for your help today, I appreciate it.

  What an experience. The guy at the pick up desk was miserable. I went in to grab a replacement rubber end for my Beats earphones and was sent to him. After being sent to him, he put me on the list “We don’t sell that. You have to get it after seeing a technician”. Then I was told to wait with three tables full of tortured souls waiting for their “genius”. It was like the waiting room from Hunger Games. After about a half hour, they changed the desk coverage and I asked the wait time. The woman there asked my name and said it might be a while because there were three people ahead of me. Just then, the desk gremlin reappeared and informed her that there were six ahead of me. I told them that I could get the part on Temu for a buck and DG repeated “We don’t sell that. You need to see a technician.” The woman suggested that if I didn’t like what I got from Temu, I could come back and I responded by saying “Oh… I’ll NEVER be back.” DG smirked and the woman looked horrified. She literally had him talk to the hand and took me to a station, where she pulled out a baggy with a similar part, put it on, and told me to try it in my ear. It wasn’t exact… but it worked. At least my ear canal would be safe from deep scars. Shout out to Helen, who turned what could have been a very negative review into a small win. Helen deserves Desk Gremlin’s job and DG should really find a new gig. Can’t stress to management how much Helen made a difference. If you walk in to this hell hole, ask for her by name. She was an actual Genius at customer retention and corporate social responsibility. She deserves our loyalty… and a glass of wine for working with DG.
