  I live in Oklahoma, in the Tuskahoma area, and this computer is for my 84-year-old grandmother. During a holiday visit and extended work stay, I initially brought her PC to Geek Squad on December 19, 2025 for service. When I was able to return on January 23, I was informed that the workmanship warranty had expired and that I would need to repurchase the service. This did not seem appropriate, considering the issue had not been resolved properly the first time. When I returned to pick up the PC, I specifically asked that it be powered on so I could verify that a fresh operating system had been installed, as discussed. Unfortunately, the computer does not have a completed operating system installation or system restore. As it stands, we are in a worse position than when we first brought it in. I was also told that Best Buy’s service line is not connected to Geek Squad, and that because Best Buy refunded my purchase amount during the second visit, this automatically triggered a “stop work” decision. This was never clearly explained beforehand. At this point, I simply want resolution. If the store cannot ship the PC, I am requesting that a carrier be arranged to pick it up from the store. I currently have four open case numbers and have not received a single call or email with a proposed resolution. I am exhausted and simply want confirmation that I may send a corrier to pick up her equipment. We will utilize a local repair shop and I will spend the rest of my life being a vocal detractor of BestBuy and Geek Squad.

  I called and was put on hold after a fairly lengthy recorded interrogation. Having waited patiently for at least 15 minutes to speak to someone about a common and simple problem, a young lady finally answered the phone with nothing but questions and no answers.. You could ask her a question and it would just get quiet as if you had lost the connection. Finally the connection was lost due to her hanging up on me. If I could find out who that was I would certainly talk to her superior. If they started giving stuff away for free I wouldn't go over there!

  Super slow to help and when they finally accepted my offer for them to help fix my bricked $1800 gaming pc when they gave it back to me they switched out some of my parts and broke my 1080Ti graphics card. If there were 0 stars that's what I would give
