⭐️ Customer Service Shout-Out: Houma, LA Verizon Store Manager!
I recently endured a 10-day nightmare trying to resolve a massive, complex billing error with Verizon's corporate phone support. After countless hours of frustration, I was directed to the Houma, LA Verizon store, and thank goodness I was.
I need to give a huge, well-deserved shout-out to the Store Manager, Deonica she listened, immediately recognized the issues, and professionally fixed a huge mess on my account, which included removing several mistakenly added extra devices. She ensured my account was finally set up correctly. I walked out with my issues resolved, and was able to get my iPhone, Watch, AND a new iPad as part of the correct plan. ipad.
Deonica was friendly, incredibly polite, highly professional, and genuinely helpful. Verizon, you need to know that employees like her are the only reason long-time customers like me are willing to stick around. Give this woman a raise!
⚠️ My Honest Feedback for Verizon Corporate:
While Deonica saved the day, the corporate customer service experience has become utterly unacceptable.
* The AI/Call Center Shift: I have been a loyal customer since iPhone 4 and willing to pay double the price compared to other carriers because of your previously excellent customer service. Now, it seems like every other business—you are pushing customers to generic AI and random, ill-informed call center employees who can't speak to previous conversations.
* The Runaround: I had to tell my story over and over. Every representative seemed focused only on selling a new phone or plan, not fixing the existing problem.
* The Lingering Issue: I still have to call again tomorrow to confirm credits promised during my initial calls, as my bill is still in the $600 range. I sincerely hope Verizon corporate follows through and fixes this billing completely.
Verizon, your declining customer service standards will cause you to lose high-value customers, like myself -Deonica and the local store team are clearly holding your reputation together.
If you are having issues, skip the corporate phone line and go see DEONICA at the Houma, LA Verizon store location—she will help you! It’s making me choose some stores for this review. Honestly, I wanted to put one star for Verizon, but this appears that this review is just for her store.
