I walked into the store to pay a bill, and as I entered, the gentleman with the glasses didn’t greet me. Instead, he immediately told me to sit up front. When I asked why, he said he’d been on the phone with Verizon for 40 minutes and didn’t know how long he’d be. I then asked if he was the only one working, and he said yes. When I told him I just wanted to pay a bill, he responded that I could go to the New Orleans location instead.
I was honestly confused and disappointed. Customer service should always be a priority — you never know who you’re speaking with. As a business owner myself, I believe professionalism and respect go a long way. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. His attitude was completely off, and I hope management takes this as a chance to remind their staff about proper customer service.
