I am leaving this review based on the deeply disappointing experience my 81-year-old mother had with your team at geek squad.
She scheduled an appointment and arrived early as to be on time for her appointment, only to be told during her visit that she had just 8 minutes to explain her issue, needs, and get a solution. The technician assigned to her spent the entire session packing up his belongings and preparing to leave for the day, rather than focusing on helping her. The requested work was neither completed as ordered nor properly explained. When the session ended, she was essentially rushed out the door.
Once outside in a dark, empty parking lot, she was approached by a panhandler offering "help"—more attention than she received inside your establishment.
As someone who owns a small business rooted in exceptional customer service and with over 15 years of healthcare experience, I understand the importance of treating every person with patience, respect, and dignity—especially seniors who may not be as comfortable with technology and are paying for expert assistance.
This experience was frustrating, disheartening, and frankly unsafe. It’s unacceptable that older customers feel discarded or devalued simply because they need a little more time and clear communication. I hope this feedback prompts meaningful changes so others don’t endure the same treatment.

The geek squad is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to electronics. The reason they dont get 5 stars is because their process is bananas! I was in store with a computer I'd just purchased wanting to leave with them so they can set it up. The rep, who was very friendly, asked me if I had an appointment I advised her I did not but, I wanted to leave my computer with them. She advised me I had to set an appointment to DROP OFF THE COMPUTER I'M STANDING THERE WITH because they had to get information to do the set up. I was a little aggravated by this because although there was an agent helping someone already no one else was there being serviced or waiting in line. It takes them less than 5 minutes to get the information to complete the set up. So now I have to come back to drop off my computer when she really could have taken my info in the time it took for her to schedule an appointment.
