  Was prompted by Apple to take my iPhone into Geek Squad in Owensboro to have the battery replaced. Through Apple I was able to schedule same day service for this replacement. I arrived a few minutes prior to the appointment. I waited over 30 mins then was finally waited in and told they didn’t have the battery in stock . I’d have to come back when it came in. I did so . I had to schedule a second appointment. Again I arrived a few minutes early . Gave them my iPhone and was told it would be about 2 hrs. I came back to pick it up 2hrs and 45 mins later , to be told they were still working on it . After waiting in store for another 1hr and 15-20 mins. They told me that they had put in the new battery, but that now the touch screen didn’t work anymore ! It was working fine when I brought it in . So….. in essence they broke my phone putting in a replacement battery. Their response was sorry about it , you’ll just have to get a new phone . But,that they would order one for me ! Geez ……. Now I have no phone , no access to my finances, can’t pay bills on it, if I have a family emergency, no one can reach me , can’t make or receive business calls , BUT SORRY ABOUT IT, THATS THE BEST WE CAN DO !!!!!!!!!!!!! REALLY ?????? I rated them 1 Star in this review, only because 0 wasn’t one of my options. The Geek Squad supervisor Austin told me that if I didn’t like it , I could go someplace else ! BEWARE IF TAKING ANYTHING IN TO BE REPAIRED AT GEEK SQUAD in OWENSBORO KY. THEY DID MORE DAMAGE THAN REPAIR DOING A SIMPLE BATTERY REPLACEMENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW I’M OUT MY PHONE AND HAVE TO GET ANOTHER ONE , BECAUSE OF THEIR INCOMPETENCE !!!!!!!! I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE FOR ANYTHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I went in to get my pc fixed today. And they said they couldn’t do anything unless i had some subscription which cost 180$. Also just a waste of time maybe they should put it online and help. Worst customer service ever and a total waste of time wouldn’t recommend it!

  Bad service – took money but didn’t do anything! I am very disappointed with Best Buy’s Geek Squad service. I took my laptop in for repair, but they returned it without doing any work and took my full money back! Not only that, but when I asked a question, they had no answer. These people just make excuses to get money and don’t provide real service. THESE SERVICES ARE CHEATERS – I will never go back to this place!
