This was the worst vet experience I've ever encountered! In fact I never even saw a doctor so I can't say it was even a vet visit, I definitely don't recommend this facility to anyone my fur baby is my girl and my family and I will not allow anyone to treat her or us like a dollar sign and that is completely what this place is about. Also don't expect a smile or friendly reaction. I signed up for a free first pet exam and this was a complete joke. The items I did discuss getting done were at least triple the cost of any place I've ever been in the past, SMH

I took my cat here from the time I adopted her in 2019 though 2025 until my wife and I moved to Shelbyville. Dr. Dixon and his staff were kind and intelligent, but there was a frequent issue of my cat being feisty when getting shots or treated. Because of the clinic's "no-fear" policy, this sometimes led to appointments being rescheduled several months down the road. While I understand and respect the mindset of not instilling fear upon the animals, I could never shake the idea of the fact this is a cat after all... animals that get displeased and express dismay at things far more trivial than getting shots. Because it wasn't always easy for me to arrange time with my work schedule to get appointments scheduled, these episodes were frustrating. Had I truly feared for my cat's safety and health, I'd have pulled her from this clinic multiple years ago. Alas, I would have preferred to have her be upset for a few minutes and get her shots over with rather than punting them in the future to usually just repeat the process. I understand this is a tight rope but the clinic we've used in Shelbyville has been much easier to work with in this regard.

this is by far the best vet i’ve ever been to. i’ve had some bad experiences with other vets but never once with this one. The staff is extremely welcoming and actually takes their time with their clients. never rushed and super thorough! i have been taking my dog since he was a puppy and i will definitely be taking my future animals here too.
