    Went into Best Buy to upgrade my iPhone. I was connected with Keisha who was a Verizon wireless rep who went above and beyond to help me get the phone setup, the screen protector installed, and to find a new case. She was amazing and I highly recommend seeking her out if you’re searching for a new device.

    I waited over an hour after deciding which phone I wanted to purchase. When someone finally helped me, I stated I wanted an unlocked phone. I was assured it was unlocked. I paid $1000. It shut off after 2 weeks. Best Buy is an absolutely horrid store.

    *edit: This is now 1 star because of their terrible special media "team" that I'm sure is just Ai. Don't bother messaging them with your reference number like they ask. You'll just get a stupid response like this. "Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us on Social Media. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It is unfortunate for us to hear that you did not have the best installation experience but where happy to hear that Chris helped. Did you need any additional assistance? ^Ezra" The only reason this is getting a 2 is because Chris in the System Designer was great, and the only helpful person I dealt with (actually the guy with the Sony shirt on the sales floor was also great but I can't remember his name unfortunately). I want to write a lot, but honestly I've told this to so many people at Best Buy already I'm sick of thinking about it. So this is actually the truncated version... I bought a new TV and set up. My TV wasn't set up at the height requested and it was crooked by an inch on one side. They also left this Giant box that was supposed to be taken away. Oh and my subwoofer that I bought "brand new" sure doesn't look brand new. Look at this box... The straps holding it in are also a different color from the actual new one I have in another room. I legitimately used to really like Best Buy, but other than Chris I got zero help. Chris went out of his way to come to my house with another member to fix the problem. I spoke with several levels of leadership, some scheduling person, etc and none of them did anything except apologize. I didn't need apologies. I needed a level TV and this giant box out of my house. Seems the only reason to use Best Buy anymore is to see if you like something and go buy it from someone else.

    Was sold 2 laptops (exact same) under the premise they would go on sale soon and we would be eligible for price match. Each time we see *the same* laptop (product is the same - - we click on the "buy again" link from our receipt in the app), the sku # is not the same, so they do not honor the price match. When I called Best Buy to complain about the fact that their site literally takes me to a product with a different sky # when I click on "Buy Again" - i got a "oh - you can't click on that, it doesn't work". This is massively misleading and appears to be done with intent. The product itself is great, but the premise under which we made the purpose feels like a complete scam. Update on 12/15/25 - Coincidentally, today the actual product (correct sku number and model number) are on sale. I did invoke the price match process via chat feature on website, only to be told it was good for only one of the two laptops as opposed to both. Again - this was not the premise under which we were sold the laptops. After pushing back, the rep honored the discount on both laptops. Although this *appears* to be resolved (I won't see the credit on my statement which will take 7-10 business days), the misleading sales pitch, misleading website interaction and fine print of the Price Match offer was disappointing. Again, the products are great; the mom & pop feel of being properly cared for as a customer is just not present.

    Just had the BEST experience in appliances that deserves a shout out. We came to the store looking for a stick vacuum replacement and encountered an appliance representative that gave us insight that we did not know that we needed. Following college, the only insight that I had for vacuums was from my father who recommended a Dyson stick vacuum. We spent nearly $900 on one of those vacuums two years ago only to be very disappointed in its ability to clean our home while it worked, but also in how fast the motor burned up. Before this, we had no insight as to the benefits from a stick vacuum to a corded vacuum, and we assumed that our hardwood floors would require a stick vacuum because that is all we knew. Fast-forward to us coming into the store and encountering the lovely individual, Lexie (I hope I spelled correctly) that told us that what our home needs versus what appliance we were trying to buy did not match. I have been religiously googling and looking up what vacuum to buy, but never in those searches had I found that since I had children and pets that I needed a corded vacuum rather than a stick cordless vacuum. I know that store representatives can get a bad reputation, however, I have never in my life been more impressed with not only her store knowledge, but also her honesty and experience helping me feel confident in buying a vacuum that we did. I don’t know that I’ll ever get another appliance without this gal specifically. Again THANK YOU, great human we hope to encounter again.
