We were lied to about a promo that Verizon was offering. We asked multiple times and were given condescending remarks. I have never had worse customer service. I believe the associate that we worked with (Trevor or Trey) was on his phone the whole time and constantly rude.
Another rep in the background even said “pay the amount of don’t take the phone” when we were simply asking questions about the promo.
After we accepted the “free” upgrade we ended up on the phone for hours trying to get the issue fixed that they blatantly lied about. Go anywhere else and with any other service. The person on the phone with Verizon admitted that we were lied to. Unbelievable.

I have had an ongoing issue with the Verizon promo and billing department for a year now. I’ve been in this store and Newport numerous times, sometimes, for hours, trying to resolve this. For the most part everyone has been very helpful. Until.. today.. I encountered a lady on the phone in cold spring that I already knew would mostly be nasty and rude. The last two times I had been in there I saw her literally roll her eyes, leaned back in her chair watching her phone with a complete look of disgust on her face. She doesn’t hide it for sure! Today, I once again saw that the issue wasn’t resolved, so I called and of course this woman answers. I tried to explain to her what was going on. ( even though she was well aware) she actually insisted that I was trying to get money from them…omg.. I can’t even as I type… I started to get upset I admit, but not at her I explained... she literally told me she wasn’t going to listen to it and said I should go to Newport or get a manager etc. EXCUSE ME what!!!? Guess she thinks I’m an idiot and just never thought of that in the last year…. Now after all the hours I’ve spent, not getting paid to sit up there,trying to get this fixed and NOT loosing my patience this woman… she proceeds to HANG UP ON ME Literally been trying to get help to resolve this problem and she decides to escalate the situation by making me enraged. Way to go customer service skills, Verizon! So, I called back and I’m proud to say I only asked to speak to a manager. She said, “Nope” no one is here” …….and I said ok I’m coming up there, then not believing it. She literally says “ ok you come up here” in a mocking tone and HANGS UP ON ME AGAIN! I am not shocked that a rude, entitled, person like that works for Verizon. I am shocked that Verizon allows it to go on. Had my service with them for twenty years. Being a loyal customer gets you squat!
