I bought an open box item in excellent condition. Excellent conditions items come with all accessories and parts that are included in with a new item, at least according to their website. I called customer service who transferred me 3 times and ultimately told me to call the store, which I did. They told me it wasn't guaranteed even if it does say that it is. Know wonder you guys close more and more stores every year. Hate from Kansas!

I had what some might think was a simple transaction. I needed a replacement charger for my daughter’s Surface Pro. I arrived at the Maize Rd location in Wichita, KS.I was at the store with the computer and the nonfunctional charger. I was directed to the Microsoft area where I met Mark. As I learned, he is 20 year-old Mechanical Engineering student. I had several questions to make sure I was purchasing the correct item and the difference between the broken charger and the replacement. He looked up the model number to confirm the computer was compatible. He even took it out of the box and we tried it out to ensure it would work with my daughter’s computer. Which I appreciated greatly.
Mark was polite, engaging, well-spoken and informative. This is the type of service and interaction I rarely receive. It was a nice change and I was less frustrated about a purchase that I was less than enthusiastic about and an item that was $50 more than I anticipated.
Good job, Mark. Keep up the good work! You are making Best Buy look good.

Wish I could leave 0 stars! Absolutely awful experience and a complete waste of time and gas. I brought in my pc tower to Geek Squad to get some diagnostics ran and so I’d know what I need to buy. Frosty was “taking care” of me, but the attitude and amount of disgusted looks over my older tower. Even after diagnosing it, all I was getting was short half-assed answers. I was sold a ram stick for laptop to put in my pc. For someone working in the tech support AND for me bringing everything in, THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. DONT waste your time and just go to Ribbit.

10/20/25 ☆☆☆☆ Stopped at Best Buy west after my vet's appointment. I needed an external DVD drive for my new laptop that doesn't have one a d a new screen protector. I was assisted by the manager and Hayden in Geek Squad. They found me what I needed and Hayden went above and beyond to get me the correct screen protector after two failed attempts we finally got the correct one and he got it installed correctly for me. Great service. I'm still annoyed that they now charge to install a screen protector on your phone though.
