I received a Verizon offer to upgrade my Pixel 7 to a Pixel 10 pro and the would pay of my phone. I went to this location as the Barry Rd location could not help me near my house. I was not greeted just asked what I wanted , in hurry up were busy tone of voice, put in the que and told have a seat and they "would get with me when they can." When the finally got to me it took another 30 plus min to explain the experience at the Barry Road store (to Luke I think was his name) and the offer and then for him to get the offer to work in their system.
He also made a big point of telling me it would cost me an additional #30 bucks on top of the 149 in upgrade fees and taxs I already had to paid to transfer the date from my old phone to new one and set it up. This is BS and SHOULD be part of getting a new phone and cost nothing but I reluctantly went along. He told me he would be back in five min with me phone. 35 min later no show and I asked what had happened to another staff member. NO UPDATES ON THE DELAY FROM LUKE.
He came back and said they were waiting for the system to put the order thru and had NO idea how long it would be as this time of year they get allot on internet orders. He told me I could wait or go it was my call. I went to get lunch and came back the same dude who checked me in said my phone was in the locker #2 and walked away. NO instructions on how to get the locker open. I figured it out. I then asked them to set up the phone and was told AGAIN I would have to wait until someone got to me and it was first come first serve. They did not know how long it would be.
I hit the celling, got my phone, and went the Cellular South store in OP and THEM set up the phone for me. The Verizon store did not. I also found out later when someone from Verizon called me they placed at least two other profile order for the same phone on my account without my knowlege. The were removed.
This place does not care about customer service, their customers time, are flat out rude, and put things on customers accounts without their knowledge or consent.
THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED AND DO NOT GO THERE. YOU WILL BE TREATED RUDLY, YOUR TIME WASTED, AND THEY WILL DO THINGS BEHIND YOUR BACK THAT COULD COST YOU THOUSANDS. Go the Cellular South store in Overland Park and stay away from this bunch. They need to shut the place down and clean house and reopen it up with a new staff.
1-8-26 Update: I was contacted today by the local district manager for Verizon today He apologized for the issues. He further informed me that do to ongoing and numerous complaints at this store similar to mine that he let the entire leadership team go for the store since counseling was not working. In addition he credited my account $ 160 dollars for my inconvenience and treatment which I did not expect and was grateful for. I am grateful for the response and hope moving forward this store will treat others better moving forward.

We spent Thanksgiving in Kansas and took advantage of Black Friday sales at a local store. The staff were friendly and helpful. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted for my family, but it still took some time to get the phones set up and update the plans. I can only imagine how much longer it would have taken if I had needed to learn about the devices and plans on the spot. I won't blame the staff for that. It's the process that is inefficient.

Where do I start? I’ve had Verizon for almost 8 years. I’ve have multiple devices that have been paid off that I Have removed and just use under Wi-Fi recently. I encountered the issue where my 16-year-old son who has autism iPad went into a activation lock and because he’s really particular about his devices, he’s had it for a while and the recovery number has changed without the recovery number Apple needs proof of purchase. They have told me Verizon should be able to provide proof of purchase. I went to this Verizon store Monday, November 3 after telling them my issue they told me to go to the Belton store because that was a corporate store, but not before they offered to sell me their home Internet, even though I have three lines of iPad a watch and a hum You think they would try to help me solve one problem before adding to my account and then Tuesday I had an appointment at the Apple Store who redirected me right back to the Verizon store so I went to the Verizon store on 119th nall Who told me their third-party store and the Verizon on 135th this location was actually a corporate store. They just have a bad rep for only one to sell to customers and not assist with major issues. I’ve spent about six hours on the phone with customer service, who can see when I added the device but can’t pull up proof of purchase and after another two hour conversation last night their solution was for me to add another line to my account and pay $36 a month for a new iPad line. As soon as I can I will be canceling all my devices. If you can see, I added a device, but you can’t provide proof of purchase you should be offering me a free iPad after eight years, not another 36 month contract.
