I have had prior bad experience with Verizon's customer service, which I explained to Bailey. She promised that she would answer any questions present/ future and to call her anytime, as she hands me her biz card. Bailey helped me navigate fixing my old phone verses upgrading to a new one. I decided to upgrade. A few days later, I did have questions and called the number on the biz card. Her voicemail had no been set up...I tried a few days later same outcome. How does a person at a phone store not set up their voicemail? I then tried the email address on the card. No reply. I assumed she was possibly on vacation...a few days later I call the Verizon store... asked for Bailey. She was with a customer, and I asked for her to call me back....nothin!!!! I decided to drive to the store the next day, Bailey was with a customer. I explained the situation to the person that greeted me. He said that the store was very busy the past few weeks.. Both times I was in the store, there was NO line and several sales persons available. NOT THAT BUSY!! Very disappointed once again with Verizon's customer service... They were helpful when they wanted a commission, so customer gets an F! No wonder the company is failing...

Laran was the absolute BEST! He went above and beyond to help us switch our entire family to Verizon and made sure we were getting the best deal available. He patiently helped us transfer our numbers, set up our new phones, and advised us on screen protectors & insurance. We have been thinking about switching carriers for over a year but it always feels too overwhelming and time consuming. I’m so glad we took the plunge and feel SO grateful Laran was the one to help us!

The store manager was completely worthless and unhelpful. I'm on a family plan and an upgraded phone was ordered over a month ago. The phone was never delivered after only one attempt and sent back to the Verizon distribution center in Whiteland, IN. I called Verizon support and wasted an hour and a half of my time and was told the phone would be reshipped to my work address. The phone never came. About 2 weeks later I used Verizon live chat and spent over 2 hours talking to several representatives (because the App times you out randomly) and was told the phone would be shipped in 4-5 days (that was about 12 days ago). The phone was never shipped. I tried to use the App yesterday to chat with a live agent, but after getting transferred 4 times to new agents and having to reexplain everything again and again, I decided to call. After wasting another couple hours, the woman I spoke with finally just cancelled the prior order (that after a month never arrived) and had me repay for the phone with in-store pick-up at a local store. She said I would be refunded what I had previously paid (I guess we will see if that actually happens without me having to waste another couple of hours). When I arrive at the store, the manager greeted me and asked what I was there for. I told him I was there to pick up my phone. He asked if I was the account owner, I told him no that my sister was. He told me she would have to pick up the phone. I let him know she lives 4 hours away and that I have already spent over 6 hours dealing with this because Verizon is incapable of having my phone shipped correctly. He didn't care and was completely unsympathetic to the situation. He didn't want to hear what I had been through over the last month - he could not care less. He lacked any resemblance of customer service skills. I offered to show him my receipt, the email telling me I could pick up the phone at the store, my phone showing all the chat history with Verizon, my Driver's License, my credit card that actually PAID for the damn phone, and any other documentation he needed to prove that I was who I said I was and that the phone belonged to me. He didn't care. He said an account owner or manager had to pick up the phone. I asked him why did the Verizon lady let me pay for the phone and tell me I could pick it up, if in fact I was not allowed to pick it up. All he kept doing was referring to some alleged store protocol and saying only an account owner or manager could pick up the phone due to fraud concerns. I asked him why could the phone be delivered to my address if I'm not an account owner, but I'm not allowed to pick it up at a store where I can prove my identity. To clarify my name is tied to this phone number...there is no issue of fraud. It is beyond me how a company will accept your money and then refuse to give you what you paid for, hiding behind some internal protocols which (if they exist) obviously don't get followed. I'll admit I may have become agitated fairly quickly given how poorly everything has been handled by Verizon over the last month, but the manager's cavalier attitude and his unwillingness to provide any level of care or assistance really pissed me off. He completely lacked any resemblance of common sense and was void of the ability to critically think, which you would expect once you hit a person of management level. Furthermore, he lacked empathy, put very little effort into resolving the issue, and provided the worst level of customer support I've received in decades. Verizon should do a better job with training their team.
