Very money hungry. Be warned that an exam alone is $100. They are one of the highest priced vets in the county. The old manager was also not great or willing to compromise and would do whatever she could to bring in money as most corporations do. They have high turnover and cannot keep staff. Almost everyone is gone that used to be there long term.

I have previously requested for your location to send prescriptions and not fill them there. We were charge 3000x mark up for A very old medication where the cash pay price at any pharmacy should be $1.32. That is Predatory and not ethical (those are the cash pay prices at multiple pharmacies)

Our family had taken our pet here for over a decade. Ever since they became corporately owned, they have had much higher turnover of employees, including veterinarians, & the experience is not the same. We finally left because each time we would make an appointment we would have to agree upon what was done beforehand, and then once they actually had our pet in office the list of necessities would change. It was extremely frustrating. Their main office assistant would blame new employees. After the 4th time this "unfortunate error by a new employee" happened, we left.

The visit for my healthy dog's check up was over $750. I've never spent close to that amount for a wellness check. The doctor and staff were nice, I felt like the pricing was way to high.

My family has been clients of VCA Olathe for decades and now that I have my own pets I can’t imagine taking them anywhere else. The whole staff here is amazing but I have to give a special shout out to Dr. Unruh. Recently one of my dogs had to have a tumor removed and she handled the situation with so much compassion and care. With the help of Dr. Unruh, Dr. Henne, and Dr. Lindsay, my dog was able to heal up and is now tumor free!
I also have a very anxious Great Dane that is seen by Dr. Unruh. I appreciate how she takes the time to make sure that he feels safe before starting the exam and continues to check in on him throughout the appointment so ensure that he is as comfortable as possible.
Whenever I come to VCA Olathe I know that my pets are going to be receiving the best care. 10/10 would recommend (and I have to many people)
