    Higginbotham did a healthcare check but, other charges were added on when I didn't request any. My insurance was charged for both. I am sickened by this system that rips patients off. Insurance co., Drs, NP, and medical facilities are primarily focused on monetary gains. Over and over I told her that this is a healthcare check required by the insurance company to keep my premiums down. She said she would code the appointment correctly showing it was for a healthcare check. I got a bill for additional charges. It is extortion and a bate and switch practice.

    Took 5 days to get back to me about a thyroid replacement prescription that my 90 year old father was nearly out of. We had to call another physician in order to get this filled. Their response... "It wouldn't hurt him if he went without it for a few days." ...FIRED! Don't let ANY medical professional treat you that way. They are only people, and some people... well...

    I was seen back in august and was given a referral for neurology. A month later I called the neurologist because I hadn’t heard anything, come to find out that neurologist doesn’t practice anymore. The second referral was also sent to an office that is no longer open so I waited another month. Then the third referral was declined because it was out of county. Not once did the office contact me. I had to contact them every single time. I am now on month 3 of waiting to be seen and am continuing to have spells. It is so unprofessional and not at all what I should expect. As someone who is new to the area this is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I am very disappointed. I do not recommend this office at all.
