- JNJeff NolanDec 15, 20251.0I tried to take advantage of Verizon’s offer of waiving their obscene upgrade fee for purchasing new phones on my account. It all was going well until I tried to pick up one of my new phones at this Woodstock store. I selected the phone I wanted in the Verizon app, paid and signed everything. I chose this Woodstock location to pick up the prepaid device, my verification email said I needed a valid ID and the credit card used to purchase the phone. After arriving at the store and waiting 30 minutes while 4 employees took care of 3 customers while taking selfies with one of them. I got my chance to let them know why I was there, one of them went and retrieved the phone I bought from the back room and proceeded to hold it hostage until I allowed him access to my Verizon app on my current phone. When I refused, he told me it was store policy and, refused to simply check my ID and, credit card used for the purchase as Verizon’s email stated. I left without the phone and, may even leave Verizon all together.

Most recently went in to upgrade phones on 2 of our lines and Ali went out of their way to drive to Mundelein to get a phone for us. Ali continued to go out of their way to make sure we received the best deal possibly in our account. I've never had a bad experience at this store.
