Customer service here doesn’t exist. It seems like they just running away from you,if you try to ask for help they will pretend that they didn’t see you. At the end I was finally able to talk to a guy and he was very unpleasant and wasn’t able to answer a simple question !
Their customer service is filled with kids that has no skills at helping customers at all, not to mention how expensive best buy is… Avoid!!!

Impossible to get through by phone. Appointment made for Geek Squad took 30 minutes to make. Insisted make RAM purchase over phone as well as Geek Squad team. Brought in my PC was told 2-3 days. Missed phone call saying incompatible I should buy from Amazon and bring in…. Unresolved so far. Have paid $200 without a fix. Horrible!!!!

Unfortunately, Best Buy really seems to have gone downhill in the last five years. Customer service is atrocious. I visited Best Buy in Skokie today. I began by walking through the store, trying to find what I was looking for. No success. I then searched for an associate to help me. They were all at registers or making sales. I stood silently next to an associate who was making a sale, but was ignored. Finally, I said, “Is there anyone who can help me?” Rather than talking to me, the associate got on his intercom and said, “Add a woman with a black laptop to the queue.” He asked for my name, then added my name into his intercom. He then went back to his sale. I stood waiting for a few more minutes. Finally, frustrated, I looked for another associate, who was also making a sale. I was told to wait because I was in the queue to be helped. I waited some more. Finally, someone walked me to what I was looking for, but didn’t stay to help. When I left, all the sales associates were giving me dirty looks.
It seems Best Buy in Skokie is more focused on making sales than on the customer experience. If they had just one associate walking the floor, focused only on customer assistance, it would be a different and better place. I’ve given two stars because some of the associates were friendly; others were not.
Note: I notice that the owner responds to most messages which give this store less than a certain number of stars. In doing so, the owner asks the reviewer to contact the company on social media. I’m not sure why they do not give a regular email address. Whatever the case, the link the owner provides differs across reviews. I attempted to use the link I was provided and it took me nowhere, certainly not to a Best Buy affiliated site. Given this behavior, I have chosen to reduce my review from two stars to one star.
