I came in to swap iPhone 17 black with lavender keep in mind that the box of iPhone 17 was never opened. I also had my receipt in hand and within 2 weeks period. They told me I had to pay $32 fee and did not know what this fee was for they just stated “system is not letting us swap it without fee, I spend thousands and thousands of dollars here and they can’t help me with this anonymous fee. Also as I traded In my iPhone originally I was told it will be traded in for $100, but at checkout they said it’s only worth $80 keep in mind my iPhone had no scratches in it and nothing wrong with its functionality. Very disappointed in apple and will never buy iPhone products again!

I wished I could give negative stars to this store and the store management.
I presented the store with my phone which they confirmed had a quality issue. I’ve been at the store twice, I called customer service and the store 17 times, I spent 16 hours on the phone with Apple. They keep saying to me that the parts will be there overnight, it’s been 7 days and nothing.
The last call (today 12/22), the manager at the store - Juliana - told me that overnight under Apple definition is 3 working days (it is a very interesting new Webster definition of overnight) and she could not do anything for me. I asked to escalate or get a new phone and the answer I got was that “I was not being reasonable, I will HAVE to wait and if I did not understand, she would drop the call”.
This is a completely lack of care, regard, professionalism and it shows how incompetent this management team is.
Overall I’ve been waiting for the phone repair for 13 days now and no line in sight of when I will get it repaired.
I’ve been an Apple customer for over 25 years and I have over 13 devices combined from Apple within my Family and this is really making me second guess the company.
Extremely disappointing!!!

I had the worst experience here out of all the Apple stores I’d ever been too (and I’ve been to many). First I want to acknowledge that I went the weekend before Christmas and it was very busy and I know the employees were probably exhausted. However after telling the guy by the pickup counter that I was here to pick up my new phone and trade my old phone in, he practically just threw the bag at me and told me to bring my old phone back within 14 days. I was highly confused because at all other Apple locations I’d been to, an associate would help you set up your new device and trade in the old device the same day. I had to ask for someone to help me, and all of the employees seemed disgruntled. They sat me at a table with many other clients who were setting up their new devices, however the employees were merely just hovering around, nobody was assigned to a specific person, so each time I had a question I had to flag down a different associate. I set up my device pretty much by myself (which is fine) but nobody came over to check on me throughout the process unless I asked. I kept hearing the employees telling clients “you don’t have to stay here to do this” which made me feel rushed. I went to this location so I could avoid the Michigan ave location, but I think next time I’ll just suck it up.

The environment at this store is chaotic and disorganized. The manager is rude, nasty, and does not value her customers' business. I purchased a new iPhone there yesterday, and somehow in the chaos one of the employees picked up my screen protector which was a high end blue-light blocking device that cost me more than $50, and threw it in the garbage. They had required me to remove the screen protector, at which time I made it clear that I wanted to keep it to use on my new iPhone, even with the understanding that it was slightly smaller than the new screen. When I discovered it was gone and after they told me what had happened, I asked them to either find and return it, or replace it with another screen protector (obviously not the same high end type which I had purchased from Ocushield, but any used or new screen protector that they had in the store). The manager claimed she went through the garbage, but that the garbage "must have already been taken out." She flatly refused to consider replacing my property that was taken by one of her employees. She even tried to change her story, now saying it could have been taken by another customer. She finally told me to "call customer service". I did that, and they told me to talk to the store. So bouncing the customer back and forth is clearly a tactic used by Apple so they never have to take responsibility for anything. I spoke to customer service again, and they said they can't do anything now, but will call me on Monday and try to help. I've always had good experiences at other Apple stores, and never been treated with this type of disrespect. I will not purchase from this store again, and after 18 years of iPhones, I'm considering returning this new phone and switching to an android.
