    Just a heads up: no cashier will check you out at the front of the business. You must visit the service center/computer check-in/cashier. Most of the time, there are three staff standing around as customers wait to be checked out because there aren't enough registers to take your money or assist you with your checkout. One person greets you at the door; he was only dancing. : Here's my checkout: Employee: Do you want/get a best Buy credit card Me: No thanks Employee: why not, you should get it, talk talk more. Employee: Do you want to buy protection for a $15 item? Me: No, thanks Employee: there's two different options. Me: Did I not already say no. I don't need 5 questions to check or, if I say no I mean it. Car salesman Corporate training if it is, its a fail. Local management also they are in charge. My visits have become fewer and fewer.

    It seems like they have most electrical items you may need but we went in after years of not being there and the car stereo section is so small now not really much going on there. They do still have the installation area but the need/want for car audio must not be the same. Disappointing have good sound while driving is a must.

    I drove 50 mi to get here. I talked to them on the phone. They said they had the product I was asking for. They did not have it. I should have known better. I haven't been back in years because of this. I will not be back. Do not go here

    I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience with Best Buy was frustrating from beginning to end. What should have been a simple delivery and installation turned into multiple failed appointments, poor communication, missed work time, and a lot of unnecessary stress. I spent more time chasing updates and trying to get answers than anyone should have to for a basic purchase. To their credit, someone eventually reached out and offered a $300 gift card, but that doesn’t really match the level of disruption and inconvenience this caused. It felt more like a small gesture to close the case than a real effort to make things right. I expected better service and accountability from a company this size. Unfortunately, this experience has been enough for me to take my business elsewhere going forward

    Nightmare. On Best Buy Street!. Never again! My wife bought me a remote starter for the car on 12/23 as a Christmas gift. This was in Rockford IL. I was given the install date of 01/04/26. We arrived for the install as planned and after waiting 2 hours the installer decided to tell us that he couldn't do the install. It had something to do with the wrong part and that he would have to reschedule. Although I don't actually blame the installer, at the end of the day, this shouldn't have happen at all. Best Buy is a not a Ma and Pop shop. It is a large "well oiled machine" organization that I thought had standards.Situations like this should not hapoen! This was a total of 3 hours totally wasted! We were rescheduled for a new date of January 14th. As time went by, we received a call that the appointment was rescheduled for the 15th.😡 The 15th came and that appointment was canceled because the tech was sick(Yeah right) There was a lot arguing back an forth with a supervisor without a resolve. Her response She finally left a message that she "was sorry for our issue" and that we could drive to Wisconsin to get the install done. I'm upset because I didn't want to drive that far. Communication ultimately stopped and I started making calls. I asked a rep about a refund. He told me about rhe 14 day return policy I Itold him that it wasn't our fault and asked what can be done. He told me that "I could try ro sell the unit on my own." Very professionnel huh? (😡) I asked for a supervisor. He told me that a supervisor (Mark) would call within the hour (never happened) This call was made on Jan 19th. I just wanted the unit installed so I relented. I called on Jan 20th to schedule an appointment. The rep was ok, but my appointment would be on February 10th in Janesville WI. I asked about Rockford, but she said that she could not give me any date for the Rockford location.🤔 That didn't make any sense, but at thist point, I was desperate. Well, today is the February 10th and we just got home a little while ago. The installer in Janesville knew what he was doing and was actually a nice guy. Having said this, the winter season is almost over and I am still upset! Finally, I will never purchase another item from Best Buy. The experience was very frustrating as well as unprofessional. I worked in Customer service for over 20 years and this by far was the most unprofessional, uncaring action by a company that I have ever seen! Note to Owner; Keep your fake text response about reaching out to you. That's a standard, meaningless apology to keep up your Customer base. Remember, I used to do this for a living!
