They erased my old phone immediately. When I talked to Apple support they said they never recommend to do that! I spoke with Verizon customer support and they could not help either. BEWARE.

However, I receive my bill and she added a new line without my consent. I see this also happened to another customer. I never authorized this and I am sick to my stomach. She wants me to “come in” to the store to fix it. I don’t live near La Grange and the only reason why I agreed to do business at an authorized seller was because they had the last iPhone 17 pro in the city. I am proceeding with corporate to make this right. My family and I have been Verizon customers for 30 years and there would be absolutely no reason for us to add another line for a person who doesn’t exist. NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS THERE!! Sleazy unethical people there. Should be shut down today.

Once the manager came in because there was a younger lady that honestly didn’t know how to help the customers which I’m really grateful for the manager who stepped in and took over my upgrade. I did notice that she was helping several families at the same time. Including myself. Finally, after a couple hours, I was able to leave the store with our brand new phones thinking we made a good decision on staying with Verizon. I receive my first bill and of course, I knew that there will be an extra charge for an upgrade, but they actually added a whole new line with the phone number and a phone to my services without my permission. My bill was double because of this new line added without my permission and in this case, it was fraud. I called customer service and complained and removed that extra service that was added on the day of my upgrade without my approval.
