  Thank you to County West Animal Hospital for the compassion you showed yesterday (12/4) as I said goodbye to my George. I walked in feeling like my world was collapsing, and you met me with gentleness when I could barely hold myself together. The way you talked to him, the care in your voices, the soft way you handled his tired body—it cut through the heartbreak just enough for me to get through those final moments. Letting him go destroyed me, but you helped make his last breath peaceful, and I’ll carry that with me forever. Thank you for giving my boy dignity when I was losing him.

  We use to love County west until VCA took over..They have cancled and rescheduled my appointments twice, which is a problem when i reschedule work for the original appointment..Also turned away on an emergency vist, told go to Mokena....They only care about money is a corporation now..Dont waste your time or your pets

  I have never walked into this vet office, but the price quote I was given was outrageous. I'm doing a Trap Neuter Return project in Kankakee, and was told this clinic has the best rates for a TNR package by a local rescue. It turns out that several of the cats are friendly, so I was going to take them here for their spay/neuters before handing them off to their receiving rescues. When I called today to get a price quote, I was told $400 just for the spay/neuter. I asked the receptionist to verify that was for a cat spay/neuter and she said yes and that didn't include vaccinations. Most other vets are around $75. Needless​ to say, I would not recommend this clinic to the average pet owner.
