Spoke to employee and had a good conversation. Offered to refund for medicine, I refused because that's not why I was upset, but they seemed to have refunded me anyway. I appreciate the gesture and I am looking forward to continuing mine and my little Maggie's relationship with VCA.

I Just left VCA , Joliet Location. I could not be happier. I have a 8 week old adorable Kitten, who has visited VCA twice now. First the Staff, all of them are very experienced, you can just tell how they interact, and handle the animal. They also enjoy what they do, it shows. I also wanted to write about the facility. First very cool, walking in you go left for dogs into one lobby, or right for cats, into the second lobby..Soooo smart to help keep the cats and dogs seperated. They also schedule you the right way- they dont schedule a few at the same time, and have you waiting in the lobby with other animals. They schedule you , confirm the night before, and when you walk in at your scheduled time they get you right in! Your animal will more than likely not have to interact with another pet... I feel blessed to have VCA so close to my condo.. They do things the right way.. Bryan

I received a call from a very ignorant worker. She was very rude to me about my care plan. When I tell you she was disrespectful and unprofessional, it was ridiculous! I’ll never take my pup back there because if you treat the customers horrible, I know you all are treating the pups horrible! I wish I would have recorded the rudeness of the woman on the phone..

The male vet is untrained and scared of big dogs. Unless you’re white with a 10lb dog you can’t get service here.

DO NOT BOOK WITH RAYMOND BISHOP. If you actually care about your pet do not! The way he spoke to me about my concerns was so disrespectful. My cat and I came in today because he has been having UTI like symptoms and I did two at home UTI tests on him which both came back positive. I told Raymond this which he proceeds to question the tests asking questions to me as if I have no idea what i'm talking about which came across very condescending. After I told him what the tests were for (UTI) he asked multiple questions to me the way you would speak to a child! He brushed off all of my concerns and told me it was all most likely because of my cats behavior which I disagreed with. This led to even more comments that made me feel like my concerns for my pet were stupid! I understand i am not a vet, i never claimed to be, I never claimed these at home tests were accurate but how can you blame me for caring for my pet? I have never left a place of business feeling so upset. I took my cat to an emergency vet after this and all of my previous concerns were proven to be true! I'm so glad I didn't listen to a word this man had to say and safe to say i will NEVER be returning here and I recommend you NEVER make an appointment with this man either!
