- KBKeyon BadieSep 8, 20252.0Seems to be a very consistent thing now with Verizon. If you don’t know or do t care just say that. We have gotten the run around from both Reps on the phone to reps in the stores. We went into this location literally days ago. Explaining that we (Myself & My wife) switched over frozen AT&T and were told not once not twice but over 4 times that since we had separated lines and accounts we could merge them. But never were told that we had to contact the department where one of us would “ASSUME OWNERSHIP & Responsibility” in order to get it done. I pay both accounts which include 2 phones, Home internet, 2 iPads but come to find out when on the line with a rep in March the rep we spoke to who barely spoke English removed the insurance from my wife’s account and we didn’t know it while trying to fix an issue with her claim. So now we go into the store in Hodgkins. And both the manager & the representative tell us they will add Insurance back and give us a call on Sunday. Today is Monday going into Tuesday now. And of course the number listed for them flies straight to the Verizon customer care line. Which is how we ended up here to begin with. So now she has a phone that is still overheating so much it’s burning her finger tips. She can’t do her free upgrade because it’s no longer free because the last “CERTIFIED REP” didn’t tell her that when she ungraded her last phone it used all her available credit for a now outdated phone. And of course the iPhone 17 is coming soooo her phone is not even charging right. Sooo let’s see how long it will take to get a claim to replace this phone. It’s crazy that we are starting to notice that unless u are spending money in the moment or just agreeing to everything that the service changes Accordingly. To think we pay over $600/month just to be cheated and treated this way. Were we told you would call just to get us out of the building? Do better seriously because it’s not okay
