    We wasted our time at the Gurnee store. We were waited on by an associate that did NOT tell us how it works to trade in my tablet. He was just going to sell us the tablet without looking up my account. We went to Verizon at Pleasant Prairie, WI. There, I found out that I could trade my old tablet. It would give me part of the cost off a new tablet. There was much more information that we were given. I walked out with a new tablet because of the associate's help. They get FIVE STARS!

    If I could 0 stars I would. This store is full of people who don’t even know what a cell phone is. Manager is loud, arrogant, makes jokes about firing people in the middle of the transaction and places orders wrong. This store is so bad, I drive 40 miles to deal with another store just avoid it like it was the plague. I truly despise Verizon in every single way possible. It’s awful. So bad that I considered not having a phone anymore. You will literally come in with an issue and they will tell you to call customer service. How am I on wait in a store? Make that make sense. Verizon stole $1100 from me and pretended they didn’t know how to correct it. LOL.

    Specifically leaving this review because of Alex who helped me upgrade my phone and plan today. I had a terrible clown fiesta of an experience with a third party Verizon retailer in Kenosha. Hours of my time wasted later, I came into this Verizon location and he fixed everything very quickly, in the least painful way possible. A super competent, delightful customer service human - give that man a raise.
