    Unprofessional, rude , disgruntled employee was awful to my mother today (she's over 60) refused to get a manager when she asked why they were being so rude. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS THEY DESERVE TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS. I think she was talking to the manager at the time. don't bother either the boiler plate response. Apology not accepted. You are pathetic. I suggest everyone just call Verizon in the future , my mother was able to get the deal sue saw advertised and phone she wanted after a quick call.

    We purchased 2 phones and upgraded our plan. Dezjah did a fabulous job in explaining the plan features, confirming the best plan for us, explaining the phone features, transferring all of our data. There was a glitch where Verizon did not set up the accounts as required so one phone didn’t update. We were back the next day where she again troubleshot the issues until it was resolved. She confirmed the trade in credits were properly credited to my account. She helped set up a veterans discount. Because of the glitch, it took quite a while but she stayed on it through numerous times being placed on hold. Since we were there for quite a while over 2 days I experienced the courtesy and helpfulness of every associate greeting and helping customers with a wide variety of issues and questions. Great store experience!!!

    Title: Avoid This Store - Unprofessional Management and Endless Hassles Review Body: I had the worst experience at this Verizon store on Grand Ave in Gurnee. Went in to trade in two old phones and an iPad. They claimed one phone was tied to a plan with a number I'd never heard of, said they couldn't fix it, and forced me to call customer service. Spent TWO HOURS on hold and talking to reps to sort it out—they confirmed it was resolved. Came back the next week, excited to finally get my trade-in credits. Nope. The staff said the fix "wasn't done right" and accused customer service of lying to me. Explained it was THEIR initial error, politely asked for help since I was already there. The store manager flat-out refused, then when I calmly asked for the legal/corporate escalation number, she lost it—yelling at the top of her lungs for me to "LEAVE NOW!" so everyone in the store could hear. Refused to give her name, said I "didn't deserve it," and literally ran to the back and hid. This isn't customer service; it's a nightmare. Felt harassed and had to call 911 to report the unprofessional outburst. Verizon, train your managers on basic respect. Shoppers, go anywhere else—save your sanity and time. Will never return.
