    In a world filled with terrible customer service, this Best Buy location is a bastion of hope and quality customer service! I love this place. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable.

    Went in to store in Crystal Lake, IL looking to replace our router, modem, 2 wireless mouse, and get information on a next Gen Xbox for my son's birthday. Walked out with nothing. Apparently, if you want help or information, there's a queue you need to enter that they don't tell you anything about. Asked an associate walking around for information on the Xbox, and were told that we need to buy one before we can get any info. Don't know what happened to the service at Best Buy, but it used to be top notch. If I have to go somewhere else to get information on a product before spending $600, I'll just buy it from them. Extremely disappointed, and I would no longer recommend shopping here.

    I went to Best Buy looking for a new OLED monitor and wasn’t sure what to get. Daniel was incredibly helpful, he showed me all the options, explained the pros and cons, and went over the price ranges in detail. He really knew his stuff and made the whole process easy. I’ll definitely keep coming back to this Best Buy!

    I really wish I could leave a zero star review. I went to the Best Buy today in Crystal Lake and purchased a Xbox game pass gift card for PC. The cashier that was there could not seem to be any more annoyed that I was there and checking out. The cashier did not ask for my account information or anything like that and just checked me out and didn’t even look at me. I left and went home to redeem my gift card and upon redemption I received an error message saying “this code is not active please contact merchant to activate this code”. I then called the phone number that was provided for the store and got stuck with an AI assistant who could not answer my question and I had to ask to talk to a worker in store like 5 times before I was able to talk to a actual person. I was then placed on hold for 10 minutes. Someone from customer service answered but not anyone from the store I was trying to contact. Because the cashier did not take down any of my account information the customer service worker was not able to access any purchase information. I was also told that no information on my receipt could be used to access purchase information. The gentleman on the phone then said I have to go into the store and they can decide what they want to do like refund the purchase, exchange the card, or that they could say there nothing they can do. Pretty safe to say my experience was very disappointing both in store and over the phone.

    Man. I really don't know how to begin. I have pre ordered games twice through them and both times have been an absolute mess. The first time, it took them forever to locate my pre ordered game. This is likely because they just threw the games into the pickup area without much organization. He ended up finding it in a completely different bin? Believe it was Bin X. My initials are SS. not sure where X came from. Today, I preordered Legends ZA a bit ago, I preordered with the intention of actually getting the PREORDER BONUS through best buy. I go in today to find they still can't locate my order, guess the crew that stocks the pickup section just doesn't care because the guy pulled my game out FROM BEHIND the baskets, it had just been thrown behind everything without a care for the actual product. After this exchange I learn that I'm not even receiving the playmat from them because they just don't have one for me? Upon hearing this I look online to hear that they just have no clue how to manage their product. Customers who preordered a month ago aren't getting the mat but people who preordered a week ago are getting one, from the same location mind you. All I can say is, don't bother preordering or trying to buy anything with one of their "deals" or "promotions" as they will likely skimp out on you and you won't receive the product you ordered. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. Cannot recommend
