  DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF. I was standing in line for my MacBook repair and heard a 70 year-old or 80-year-old couple get scammed because their laptop had a hard drive and was slow. The geek squad “technician” then told them it would be pointless to upgrade the Hard drive to an SSD and upgrade the ram ($120 parts costs BTW), and instead recommended that they buy a new desktop. He also then told the couple that an upgrade would also be pointless because it was running Windows 10 which has lost support (Every windows 10 license can upgrade to Windows 11 for free as long as you enable TMP2.0 in the BIOS, basic knowledge any decent tech would know). I then asked the “technician” I was working with if they don’t do SSD and ram replacements (on the side quietly as I didn’t want to get thrown out) to which he replied “it’s probably a 15-year-old laptop”. I looked at the laptop. It was not 15 years old. It had a 8th Gen cpu at worst. Mind you this is a 70 or 80 year-old couple who told the technician that all they do is check their emails, a simple SSD and ram upgrade would have done just fine. Instead I watched this couple pay $1100, $800 plus taxes and fees for the desktop and then $174 to move their #DATA. By the way, moving #DATA is completely free using software like macrium reflect 7 and takes all of 30 minutes to do. These cannot be trained technicians or they are told to upsell and rip people off. This is all work your Nephew could have done at home with 120 dollars in parts and a 20 min YouTube video.

  Calling this number reaches a bot. I get that businesses are moving towards AI but I just want to speak to a person. When you call, you have to answer multiple questions to reach a person, if you don’t, it hangs up on you. AWFUL experience for customer support

  The employees were friendly, asked several times if we needed help. Their laptops, TVs, and monitors selection was much larger than expected.

  Generally Best buy is ok. However when I call to contact the local store you get put on hold, then eventually transferred to a call center in India. They wanted my name, email, phone number before they would Transfere me to the store down the street! ABSOLUTELY NOT! They would not connect my call so I terminated the call. I WILL be complaining about this AT the store in person....Do not allow BEST BUY Or any other company to do this to you, out sourcing jobs to overseas operators!

  Turns out the the night manager and a few employees were cheating the system. They got caught red handed coming out with lots of Pokémon product the night before the drop. I'm sure there is a policy in place for this. Hopefully Best Buy holds these guys accountable. While you have customers waiting in line 8 hrs. for this product. 10 a.m. finally arrives and there is no product. Unbelievable.
