Instead, the staff convinced me to downgrade to the Ultimate Plus plan because they said it would be cheaper and still give me the same trade-in value. What actually happened was the complete opposite. They only gave me $630 for the trade-in, not the $800 I was expecting. On top of that, they added a $10/month international plan I never asked for (I mentioned wanting that in two years, not now) and a $20/month phone protection plan I also never agreed to. Both of these were slipped in without explanation or permission. We bought a phone valued at $830 and paid $200 in taxes upfront, and somehow our bill still doubled the next month. I now have to undo everything myself to get back to my original plan, and we’re out roughly $400 because of their so-called “cheaper” changes. This store either doesn’t know what they’re doing or they’re intentionally misleading customers. Either way, I’ll never come back. Avoid this location if you don’t want to be overcharged or tricked into add-ons you didn’t ask for. Update: After hours of back and forth with customer care, I was able to get the 800 full trade in credit, the phone plan back to where it was and the added services dropped.
