I caught that the "free watch" actually included a paid subscription. They said getting the watch was the only way to upgrade my phone. I thought that sounded untrue so I backed out of the upgrade. Sure enough, I got home and was able to upgrade my phone online without a watch subscription. So seemed like a real shady sales tactic.
