VCA went above and beyond and did the seemingly impossible. With two days to go before an international flight our cats were missing EU health certificates which are required for EU layovers even if the final destination is not in the EU. Dr Ali and Veronica rushed to submit the forms to the USDA and got them approved on time and the forms returned stamped. Sam was also a huge help in getting us the support on time. VCA saved us thousands of dollars and we could not be more grateful. Trust this place to help you!

I am an established customer with my dog. I was assured that I could come back without doing all the extra steps. For example, in my current instance dog needs flea medicine. Now all of a sudden-he has to come get blood work before. Just looking for a money grab it sounds like. Horrible horrible.

Every time my sensitive French bulldog has an issue and I call around and get an appointment for my pet, I find the care and cost not as exceptional to VCA Lakeshore. So from now on the answer is clear. They will be my primary vet and here’s why. I can always get an appointment in a reasonable time frame. Their staff has always been accommodating. Price point has never been insanely outrageous. But most importantly the care we receive has always resolved my pets issue. I can’t say enough about my veterinarian. Thank you!

Most of the time I was pretty happy with the services we received here, but I will not be returning. About a month ago I brought my cat in for testing because he was having poop issues. We got a test and it came back negative. He was still having problems so a few weeks later I took him to Bond Vet on Damen and got another test. He came back positive for tapeworm. I looked back at the test from VCA and noticed they literally only tested for parasites while Bond tested for about 8 different things- parasites, several types of worms, etc. I think my cat had worms for a month! It might be partially on me because I might have just asked about parasites, and probably should have looked at the test more closely, but tapeworm is such a common ailment for cats I’m really shocked they didn’t just test for it.
