I wasn’t able to complete the process that day, so I returned the next day. Upon entering, no one greeted me as the staff were assisting other customers. When I was finally helped by an associate (an African American gentleman), he seemed irritated. After I explained my situation, he whispered, “This sounds like a lot of work,” and informed me he could not help without the account holder present—despite Kawe previously telling me the account holder did not need to be there. I came back again the following day, and the same employee greeted me by saying, “There’s only a few minutes left,” even though I arrived at 6:30 PM and the store closes at 7 PM. A “few minutes” would be 6:55 PM, not 6:30 PM. It was clear he was more focused on leaving than assisting customers, and his attitude both days felt unprofessional and dismissive. On a positive note, I want to thank Wendy, who took her time to help me and provided excellent customer service. She was patient, attentive, and made sure my needs were taken care of.
