I’ll start by mentioning that I had a situation where I was honestly considering moving to a different cell phone company. Nothing was going right with the trade in’s we had agreed to. Something went wrong with their system and the phone customer service wasn’t of much help. I went to this store furious to the point where I would have canceled all 6 lines if I don’t come out with a resolution. Luckily, we didn’t get to that point. Assistant Manager, Liz stepped in and took ownership of the situation. Not in the sense of her having done anything wrong, but took ownership in the sense of recognizing a customer was upset, something isn’t making sense system wise, we might have to do something. That’s what she did in the most professional way possible. She told me not to worry, as that she would look into this to attempt to resolve. It took several days to resolve because she had to jump through hoops but she kept me updated every step of the way until finally being able to resolve the issue. As a customer, I felt like I was their top priority. Overall, pleasant experience. Thank you!

Where do I start… Upon walking up to Verizon I am greeted by the Thursday crew looking at me through the window the lady pictured below then point at me and let their other co workers know how annoyed they are that I’m coming in as it is a inconvenience that I am making them do their job… furthermore I sit down with them to discuss canceling my service only to be greeted with a paper with a 1-800 number and notify me that they are unable to assist with the task at hand and that I could simply call in and cancel my service. So I proceed to call the number as she looking up my account and the phone number they provided advises over speakerphone that the “loyalty” crew was closed and furthermore emphasizing her lies she looks at me with a annoyed look rolls her eyes and then finally decides to do her job at this point I’ve had enough of it all and snap their pictures to post this review and all I can say is wow Verizon this is the type of talent that you hire? You hire the fruit that fell off the tree and is Half rotten and this is a true testament to how you guys do business I can’t see you making it into the next decade do better Verizon do better

This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had — period. If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at the Verizon store at 370 W Army Trail Rd, Bloomingdale, IL was absolutely disgraceful from start to finish.I went in during the last week of September to switch nine (9) business lines and multiple iPads from AT&T to Verizon Business. I was assisted by Marko, who passed me off to their business rep Nikoletta. That’s where the nightmare began. Nikoletta was completely unprofessional, disorganized, and unreliable. She asked for all my business information and promised a quote by end of day. Days passed — no call, no text, no quote. When I finally reached her, she was literally at her son’s soccer game and said she’d get back to me. She didn’t. When I finally met her at the store, she was distracted, on her phone, helping other people mid-conversation, and had zero sense of urgency or customer care — even though I was bringing a major business account to Verizon. I felt completely disrespected. After several delays, she personally dropped off the phones — only to fail to activate or port the numbers correctly. My entire business was left with non-functioning phones, and my staff couldn’t communicate with customers for days. This caused real business losses. When I tried to get help, I was met with rude and aggressive behavior from another employee named Diego, who told my brother that we were “pestering” them and that we could just “return everything” (with a restocking fee, of course). The arrogance and lack of accountability were unbelievable. To make matters worse, Nikoletta stopped responding completely, even though she was reading our messages — only later her colleagues claim she was on vacation. In my 10+ years as a business owner, I have never dealt with such unprofessional, careless, and disrespectful behavior from any service provider. Verizon’s employees at this store clearly care more about commissions than customers. I am planning on returning all devices, staying with AT&T, and planning on filing a formal complaint with the FCC and BBB. I’m also sharing my experience with other business owners, that Verizon and this store do not care about your business. Please look at other Google Reviews as well. If you value your time, money, or sanity, stay far away from this Verizon store. They don’t care about your business — only about closing a sale and moving on.

I had one of the worst customer service experiences at Verizon with associate manager Diego. My family and I came in with a simple question about our bill. Diego told us he would assist us after finishing with another customer, which we completely understood and were fine waiting for. However, after that customer left, Diego skipped over us entirely—helping three other customers while we continued waiting for over 30 minutes. We eventually had to get his attention ourselves, only for him to act as if he didn’t remember we were still waiting. What made this even worse was Diego’s unprofessional tone, dismissive attitude, and complete lack of problem-solving skills. He raised his voice, cut me off mid-sentence, and wouldn’t even make eye contact. For someone in a management role, Diego set the worst example of leadership possible—it honestly felt like customer service was beneath him. This type of treatment is unacceptable. It showed a clear lack of organization, efficiency, and respect for customers’ time. Verizon should expect far better from its managers. If Diego is the standard of leadership here, I would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.
