No, a referral is not required. All of our services are private and self-referred, meaning you can book directly with us at your convenience.
Is ultrasound scanning safe for my baby?
Yes. All of our ultrasound scans are non-invasive and entirely safe for both mother and baby. They use sound waves, not radiation.
What is the best time for a 3D or 4D scan?
The ideal window for 3D or 4D scans is between 27 and 32 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage, your baby has developed more fat and definition, but still has space to move freely.
Can I bring someone with me to the appointment?
Yes. We warmly welcome partners, family members, or friends to attend with you and share the experience. However, we do recommend limiting numbers to maintain a calm environment.
How accurate are your gender determination scans?
We offer gender scans from 16 weeks onwards with a 99pct accuracy rate, provided your baby is in a suitable position. If we’re unable to determine the gender on the day, we’ll offer a free re-scan.
What if I have a concern or complication during my pregnancy?
While we provide thorough private scans, we do not replace your public maternity care. If there’s any clinical concern, we will refer you to your GP or local maternity hospital immediately.
