The best anti-aging treatment is micro dermal needling. This treatment directly stimulates our own production of collagen no matter how old we are. Clients can start this treatment at any age. It can be adapted for a particular skin condition or just as maintenance to protect our own collagen as the skin matures.
What is oxygen therapy
Oxygen therapy is a treatment that infuses oxygen into the skin using a pressurised hand piece. It helps to increase blood circulation to the skin cells. Oxygen therapy has the ability to strengthen skins elasticity, evens out skin tone and can help to reduce p-acne bacteria that is responsible for acne breakouts.
What is Radio Frequency?
RF is a treatment that gently heats up the deeper layers of the skin. The heat created improves the blood flow that brings nutrients and fresh oxygenated blood to the core of the skin cell. This increased blood flow also supports the elimination of waste products from the skin cells to the lymphatic system resulting in clear radiant skin.
What is Derma Needling?
Derma Needling is a method of stimulating the natural collagen in the skin by tricking the skin into thinking it is wounded. It then begins a wound healing process which stimulates our own collagen.
My skin is so dry around my cheeks, what is the best treatment for this area? Other areas are normal.
The term “Rosy Cheeks” has been one we have come to associate with beauty and health. However the dark side of Rosy cheeks is that they are extra sensitive to our environment and also to products that we use on our skin. Almost all of us are born with some redness on our cheek area even if it is not always visible it doesn’t mean it’s not there. Our cheeks are the most exposed and sensitive area of our face.
What is HydraFacial?
HydraFacial is a mechanical exfoliation of the skin. It can remove more dead skin cells in one treatment than any other exfoliating process. This action's benefits are an immediate improvement in skin texture (Smoothness), which allows for deeper penetration of products. With the addition of red LED light therapy, the treatment is complete.

What Treatment is good for open pores?
HydraFacial can minimise open pores. Over time, this will happen as the tip's action along the skin surface gradually smooth’s out the skin.

What is Micro Derma Needling?
By the time we are 35, we will have lost half the collagen (the 'scaffolding' of the skin) in our skin and elastin (which gives our skin its elasticity). Quite simply, Micro Derma Needling stimulates new collagen production. It is the controlled stimulation of the skin's ability to self-repair. The thousands of micro 'channels' created in the skin by the micro-dermal handpiece trigger new collagen production.
Serums containing Hyaluronic Acid are applied immediately after Micro Derma Needling. Once applied, the Hyaluronic Acid provides a protective layer on the skins surface allowing the skin to begin its internal healing safely and effectively. The skincare products the client applies following her treatment will significantly aid the treatment's success because of the increased absorption of active ingredients immediately following the micro-dermal needling procedure.

What happens during the IPL Skin Rejuvenation Treatment?
The treatment begins with a double cleanse and an enzymatic exfoliation. This prepares the skin for the IPL skin rejuvenation treatment. A clear gel is applied to the skin. This gel is designed to focus the light onto the skin. Our highly trained therapist gently applies the smooth, glass surface of the IPL handpiece to the skin. Light is delivered to the skin surface in precise pulses that are virtually pain-free however you may feel a slight sting like being tapped with a rubber band. Once the whole face and neck is treated the gel is removed.
The treatment is completed with the application of Red LED light for 20 minutes.
Red LED light energy is a safe and painless. This form of light can penetrate the deeper layers of the skin where it directly stimulates and regenerates skin cells and tissue repair. It is a fabulous addition to the IPL Skin Rejuvenation Treatment.
Occasionally some redness may be present immediately after the IPL treatment and can last for a maximum of one to two hours. The skin will immediately look refreshed and plump. For longer lasting results a series of 6 sessions is recommended.

How does IPL Skin Rejuvenation work?
IPL Skin Rejuvenation treatment is a very effective treatment for stimulating the skin cells of the dermis called the fibroblasts. These cells are responsible for the production of our collagen. The IPL device delivers wavelengths of light energy to the skin. This light is attracted to the fluid in our skin cells and converts the fluid into heat. The process accelerates cell metabolism and wound healing resulting in the production of new collagen.
What is Rosacea?
Rosacea is a chronic but treatable condition. It normally develops on the cheeks and nose area of the face and typically begins after the age of 30. Rosacea can affect all skin types. However, people with fair skin who tend to blush easily are at greater risk of developing Rosacea. Persistent redness, dryness, flushing, bumps, pimples, stinging, and visible blood vessels are all signs of rosacea.
What is the best treatment for Rosacea?
A good skin care routine is recommended for Rosacea. It is advisable to clean the skin with a gentle nonabrasive cleanser and remove with a soft cotton face cloth. Rubbing the skin or using abrasive exfoliators will cause more irritation on the skin. Rosacea clients should avoid any products that sting, burn or cause redness in the skin. An SPF of 30 or higher is recommended and look for non-chemical (mineral) sunscreens that contain Zinc or titanium dioxide.
Our recommended Salon Treatments

2. IPL
3. Diathermy

What is a Collagen Facial?
Collagen Facials rejuvenate, plump and improve skin texture by increasing the hydration levels in the deeper layers of the skin. To further aid increased absorption of the active ingredients during the treatment an enzymatic exfoliation is performed. This deep exfoliation will dissolve the build-up of compacted skin cells on the surface of the skin. The skin will often feel dry and tight because the skin is not being able to shed its skin cells normally. Skin care products will be challenged to penetrate through this layer of compacted skin cells leaving the skin struggling to absorb the product only adding to the dehydration of the skin.
The primary focus is always to “Hydrate” regardless of skin type, age or skin condition. It is not possible to treat the skin successfully if the skin is not hydrated and healthy first.
Hydration from the inside (drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day) and hydration from the outside (our skin care) is the key to a beautiful healthy skin.

What’s the difference between Electrolysis & Laser?
Electrolysis is a successful and permanent method of hair removal. The special probe and needle that is used during the electrolysis treatment release a current into the hair bulb creating a heat energy that destroys the hair cells. All hair texture, colour, type, and strength can be treated with electrolysis. One of the advantages of electrolysis hair removal treatment is the hairs are removed during each treatment giving the client a level of comfort until her next session.
Intense Pulse Light Laser (IPL) hair removal uses a broad spectrum of light that converts to heat when it comes in contact with the pigment in the hair. The pigment heats and destroys the hair bulb. One of the advantages of IPL hair removal is it can treat larger areas of the face and body more efficiently. A disadvantage of IPL hair removal is that it cannot treat blonde or red hairs because of the lack of pigment.
In conclusion both Electrolysis and IPL are effective methods of permanent hair removal.
The colour of the hair and the area of the body to be treated will determine if IPL Hair Removal or Electrolysis is the most suitable to achieve a great result.
