This vet/hospital is nothing but the best! Brought my Vizsla (Zita) in to have her lump looked at. I was preparing for the worst. 12 years old, hearing and sight are diminishing. Dr Gutting entered the room and examined the lump. He gave the horrible news that it was definitely a tumor and another was forming. Prognosis not good. We could both see that extensive treatment would not be worth it. Recovery, pain and high expense only to prolong life for a short period. To keep her alive would only be for my sake. I asked the inevitable and we discussed the process of putting her down. My tears were coming and he even said, "Oh shoot." He was taking this to heart as he could see how much Zita was attached to me. Obviously not easy for him, no matter how many times he's done this. The next morning, I brought her in and he and the assistant were very compassionate. The both explained the process. He administered 3 shots (stages). My last moments with Zita were filled with tears and I could see that they were heart broken as well. I have another Vizsla (Zita's daughter). VCA will be my only go to for her. Thank you Dr Gutting and team!

Worst ever! I took my 1 year old cat there with concern about him being lethargic and having possible vitamin deficiency due to his diet and I thought he was in pain also. They said they were going to do x-ray and blood work. I didn't really understand why an x-ray and later found out it was cause they thought he had been physically injured. Which he hadn't. They ended up not doing any blood work, sent him home with pain prescription gabapentin and no answer as to what was wrong with him. The bill was over $600 and I got no answers as to what was wrong with him. The x-ray they said was the cheapest one was $385. I am not rich, I had to borrow the money to pay for this and I don't have anymore money to just give to the rich for nothing in return. I called them about a week later asking for a copy of the x-ray and they told me they just sent it to the lab that day and we're supposed to call me when they got the results back. That was months ago. Makes me wonder if they even took any x-rays. I'm now sitting at the er in spokane with my cat and they are thank God doing blood work and they had more answers for me in the first half hour then vca had for me ever. But still I sit here with my poor boy that is close to death, all because I choose the wrong vet to take him to. If your pet is in good health and you like to throw money away, this is the place for you.

Very happy with VCA! Staff is friendly and kind and they have been able to get our pups in during emergency situations same day and we are very happy with the level of care they received. They went above and beyond for us when we had to unexpectedly say goodbye to our sweet black lab- they handled the situation with professionalism and care. Thank you VCA!
