Been a loyal customer over four years and the worst customer service I’ve experienced. Will be taking my business elsewhere

The guy that helped us handed us a phone and told us we had to call customer service our selves to get anything taken care of on our account. What’s the point of having a store front if we have to call customer service our self to get things taken care of. Right now we are headed to a T-Mobile to switch our service.

I was trying to resolve a bill I didn't know existed on an old account (that was opened as a postpaid $70 account but was supposed to be a $25-35 prepaid account). I called Verizon and after 90 minutes they told me I had to go to the corporate store (45 minutes away) to show my ID and get a new 4-digit code. I get there and after waiting they tell me I have to have one of my kids phones to get a new code. So I go to get the phone and come back only for them to tell me there is no way in their system to give me a code on a closed account. I go home in a rage and the next week call them again only to spend 45 minutes on the phone again for them to insist I go to the corporate store for a code. They are a joke!
