  Silas C. was very competent, respectful, and kind when helping me with my computer. I had called a few other highly rated places to see if they could help me with a computer problem that was way out of my and my geek dad's depth (who has been a computer education instructor for 20+ years) and the other businesses barely knew what I was talking about. The tech division at the company I work for couldn't help or direct me in any way either. It was incredibly stressful. I bring my computer into the Geek Squad to ask if any of them possibly knew how to fix my issue, and Silas knew immediately what the issue was and had it resolved so quickly. I am beyond impressed and am very grateful. I am so excited to find reliable help and will come back here first. Give Silas a raise please. The entire staff were very on top of it and respectful to everyone that walked in, no matter the issue. These are the kind of people our community really needs.

  I took my laptop in because it wouldn't charge, and they told me it would be almost $500 to fix it. They plugged it into their C charger, and it wouldn't charge. They told me they would have to send it off, and I would need to leave a deposit that is non refundable. I went and got a second opinion, and it turns out I just needed a different charger. $30. They were wonderful people and super nice. But I wish they had a little bit more knowledge. This could have cost me weeks of time and lots of money.

  If you didn't already know, you don't have to buy an electronic item (especially computers) for Best Buy in order to get Geek Squad support! I've been associated with computers since the mid 1980s and Geek Squad is by far the best support group that I have seen and worked with in getting viruses off my computer! You can get one time support or obtain a yearly (I think the best option) support. Ever in question, give them a call!!!

  Quick fix, sometimes just a kind courtesy overlook from Best Buy Geeks will fix your computer. Solution was simple, and I wasn't charged! Overjoyed to have my computer working again, for free!
