I just wanted to know if I could talk to a local employee about if they had a product on their shelf and they can answer me. I guess Target, Walmart, Fred Meyer's, ect would rather have my business. When I tried Geek Squads number, it went to India under Best Buy. So, now even for local service, you can't call direct.

- RTRachel TewsJan 10, 20242.0I took my laptop in because it wouldn't charge, and they told me it would be almost $500 to fix it. They plugged it into their C charger, and it wouldn't charge. They told me they would have to send it off, and I would need to leave a deposit that is non refundable. I went and got a second opinion, and it turns out I just needed a different charger. $30. They were wonderful people and super nice. But I wish they had a little bit more knowledge. This could have cost me weeks of time and lots of money.

I've been associated with computers since the mid 1980s and Geek Squad is by far the best support group that I have seen and worked with in getting viruses off my computer! You can get one time support or obtain a yearly (I think the best option) support. Ever in question, give them a call!!!
